If you're looking for a lively spot that serves up mouthwatering pub fare, look no further than Champions Pub, located at 114 Foster St, Peabody, MA. This beloved local haunt has carved out a niche for itself on the North Shore, known particularly for its delectable steak tips and warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Step inside Champions Pub, and you’ll be enveloped by the aromas of savory dishes sizzling in the kitchen. The inviting vibe is made even more enjoyable by a team of friendly and attentive staff who truly enhance your dining experience. Customers rave about the steak tips—juicy, tender morsels marinated to perfection. One patron, Frank Hathaway, describes them as “amazing,” noting generous portions that leave you satisfied and perhaps with some leftovers to take home!

But steak tips aren’t the only star dish at Champions. Their menu features a variety of enticing starters, from crispy chicken wings to golden onion rings, perfect for sharing or savored solo. A combo platter lets you taste a bit of everything, starting at just $14.95. Don’t forget to try the bbq ribs for a uniquely rich flavor or the fried shrimp for a crunchy yet succulent treat.

If you're in the mood for something lighter, their salads are fresh and vibrant, including options like the grilled chicken salad and Greek salad—always a good choice alongside a hearty entree.

Speaking of entrees, the menu boasts satisfying choices such as pork chops and bbq chicken, all of which come highly recommended by patrons. Aida Vargas couldn’t help but share her enthusiasm for the steak tips, noting that it was "the best" she’s ever had, enjoyed alongside an excellent selection of IPAs.

While the ambiance may be unassuming, the true magic of Champions Pub lies in its food and the bustling camaraderie among guests. As Dallin Nelson puts it, this place features "maybe the best pub food" he’s ever encountered, alongside a robust drink menu to keep your spirits high. Whether you're looking to catch up with friends or unwind after a long day, this pub serves as a fantastic backdrop equaled only by its culinary delights.

The only small critique has been about the experience surrounding food presentation, with one reviewer noting a hiccup regarding soggy sides. However, the overall consensus highlights the quality and flavor of the main dishes, affirming that Champions Pub is a must-visit for anyone in or passing through Peabody. Make sure to bring your appetite and enjoy the vibrant energy that this local gem exudes!

First time at Champions today for a late lunch. Service was outstanding. Several servers asking us if we placed our order, wanted another drink, how was it, can I get you anything else. Just perfect and super friendly. Had to order the steak tips. They were amazing. Tender and marinated to perfection. Plenty of left overs with a ton of food. Very unassuming from the outside but a busy restaurant and bar inside even at 2 pm on a Saturday. All around great menu, great prices for the portions and just perfect service. Nothing not too like here except it could be so busy the wait may turn you away.

My customers tell me regularly they have the best steak tips around so I decided to finally try them. Absolutely NOT disappointed! The marinade is incredible and the tips are tender and juicy! Staff is friendly, service very nice! I will be coming back most definitely.

A staple of the North Shore. Steak tips here are as good as everyone says, and the rest of the menu is great too. Maybe the best pub food I've ever had. Lots of beer and drink options, plus a easy-going vibe that makes for a fun hang out. Will recommend.

If I could give it a 4.5 I would. The steak tips were great and had a nice glaze on them. The cuts were lean, tender, and juicy. These are the best steak tips we've ever had. The drive getting there was a bit precarious due to bumpy roads and detours, yet worth the trip. What it lacks in ambience it makes up for in food quality.

Awesome tips as usual. Haven’t eaten them yet but I already know. Got home and had to recook all the fries, onion rings and fried pickles. All nasty wet and soggy. $90 for two steak tip dinners, one chicken finger dinner and order of fries.

Really busy place where every staff member works together well. The service was excellent. The steak tips and hot sausage were delicious. I’d go so far as to say they were the best steak tips I’ve ever had. I wish the place was a little bit bigger and lighter. The only bad thing is the boy putting the plates together had no gloves on. He would rinse his hands in water without soap between plating.

We drove specifically for the reputation on how great the steak tips were. I got half beef and lamb tips with fries and it comes with a salad (dressing was great). It did not disappoint, lives up to the hype about the tips. The place is small, but it had a lively atmosphere. Everyone just doing there thing and eating. We sat at the bar. It was a Sunday and it was packed. We had to wait until two seats opened up, but not a big deal. I would definitely go again.
